10.6.17 Spice Valley Abingdon

Aesthetically pleasing.
Authentic music.
It was a little quiet when we arrived but it was England v Scotland football. It filled up by teh time we left
Sumptuous pickles and crispy poppadums that were  not too greasy.
Chicken tikka nice served with salad.
Chicken Naga hot just as warned.
Quick friendly service.
White tablecloth and mints.

27.5.17 Chili Lodge Leeds

Great views including M62.
Pleasant decor.
Mint yogurt a little strange
Onion Baji's a little greasy.
Alan's Bengal tasty but very hot, meant to be an aphrodisiac!
Service erratic, Short staffed.
Robert not too keen on the Bangla beer.

It was a 7 but after receiving the bill on top of all the dirty dishes and giving up on someone collecting the money.. 6 1/2

20.5.17 Pink Olive Andover

Back to Alan's favourite restaurant at the moment.
Nice poppadums.
Sheek kebab a little dry.  John's sizzling duck and Chrissie's salmon tikka starter very nice.
Nice chicken tikka .Sizzled but not served at the table.
Still missing the after eights and hot towels :(

6.5.17 Chilis Newbury

Decided to revisit this restaurant near the station in Newbury. It has been a while since we were last here.
the menu is a little different.
Traditional music :)
Diet coke £3 for small bottle. :(
The poppadums were a little strange.Just two food dips, cheese and mango.
I had sizzling chicken with fruit not sure how much I liked it.
Alan has chicken 65 to start  with and and Mysore chili chicken as main which was quite spicy.
Service a bit slow
