Our neighbours John and Chrissie joined us and we liked being seated at the front of the restaurant that was a lot lighter than the back.
The surroundings were pleasant and the music authentic. The staff however were not particularly friendly. Chrissie and John ook a fancy to the mirror behind us but it didn't fit in Chrissie's handbag.
the napikens were opened for us by the staff and the poppadums tasty and crispy, w egot through the mango sauce very quickly though!
the only Indian been was Kingfisher on tap.
Though not described as being served on a sizzler it was still a little disappointing that the Chicken Tikka was served on a plate. Also a let down was no fried onions. The chicken was spicy .. a little too spicy! Alan however was pleased with his Madras. The table was very crowded and it was elbows in to eat.
I liked it that the waiter opened the towels for us at the end.
